Founded in 1990, International Passenger Protection (IPP) was born out of a simple but powerful idea: to provide a straightforward but effective alternative to traditional bonds.

IPP is a leading provider in the UK in financial failure insurance products to the travel industry. Our solutions have helped our partners with an option to the traditional bonding and bank guarantee markets. We provide these products to some of the largest Online Travel Agents (OTAs) in the world, travel agents, airlines and traditional tour operators.
For more than 30 years, we’ve helped reshape how the travel industry protects itself and its customers in over 30 countries.
In view of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU, in November 2020, International Passenger Protection (Malta) Ltd obtained an enrolment with the Malta Financial Services Authority to provide financial failure insurance products to the travel industry in Europe.
